Bryant Women’s Rowing Competes In the Wormtown Chase Regatta

SHREWSBURY, MA. - The Bryant University women's rowing team took part in the collegiate women's 8+ event at the Wormtown Chase Regatta this past weekend completing their first ever race at the Donahue Rowing Center on Lake Quinsigamond.

The Bulldogs took off on a head race course of three miles. The course began below Long Pine Island and proceeded along the Worcester shore before circling around the Donahue Rowing Center to finish off the course. The Bulldogs, in their second race of the season, finished with a time of 18:29.49 amongst the nine teams on Lake Quinsigamond.

The rowers for the Bulldogs this weekend consisted of Brooke Hammond, Bridget Moore, Erin Prouty, Mollie Lytje, Olivia Manuel, Monica Garbacz, Calla Puccetti, Jordan Grady, and Sarah Oakes.

Next up:
The Bulldogs head down to Shelton, CT to compete in the Heart of the Housatonic this Saturday.
