Shrewsbury, MA -- Bryant University's rowing team competed at the Assumption University invitational this past weekend. Notably, Bryant went up against Assumption University, Mass Maritime, and Mt.Holyoke, placing first overall in the Varsity eight and four events.

In the Varsity 8, Bryant clocked in at 8:04.20, finishing well ahead of Mount Holyoke A (8:13.60) and Mount Holyoke B (8:32.99).

The Varsity Four team also secured first place with a time of 9:06.20, besting Assumption University (9:21.44), Mass Maritime (9:54.14), and Mount Holyoke (10:04.42).

Despite challenging headwind conditions, Bryant showed impressive racing, clinching a 9 second win in the varsity 8.
