BASEBALL 2-2 AFTER SUNDAY'S SPLIT

WINTER PARK, FL - The Bryant baseball team wraps up its season-opening trip to the Sunshine State Monday when the Bulldogs play Bentley and Rollins in a doubleheader. On Sunday, the Bulldogs earned a split, defeating Bentley 10-9 and falling to Rollins 8-2.

After opening the season Saturday with a 12-3 win over Bentley, the Bulldogs dropped a 16-4 decision to Rollins College.  The Bulldogs would regroup, earning another 10-9 win over the Falcons but dropping the night cap, 8-2 to Rollins.

For the weekend, the Bulldogs were led by junior Pat O'Connor. The Mattapoissett, MA native hit .462 in the four games, recording three doubles while belting out a pair of home runs.  O'Connor drove in six runs and scored four times.

Pat McKenna (Orange, CT) had a fine weekend as well, hitting .400 with four runs and four RBIs.  Eric Loh (Old Greenwich, CT) earned the win over Bentley, allowing just one run on six hits while striking out two Falcons in six innings of work.
