HAMPDEN, Mass. – The Bryant University men's golf team used a strong overall effort to place third out of 14 teams in the UConn Invitational at GreatHorse from Sept. 27-29.
Both Chad Correia and Matthew Young tied for fifth individually. Correia posted a one-over total after shooting three over in the first round and two under in the second round. Young also registered a one-over total after shooting even in the first round and one over in the second round.
As a team, the Bulldogs shot 295 (+7) in round one and 297 (+9) in round two to finish with a 592 (+16) total.
Inclement weather shortened the event to two rounds of 36 holes.
