GLEN COVE, N.Y. — The Bryant University men's golf team placed second among seven teams in the Nassau Intercollegiate at Nassau Country Club from Oct. 19-20 to conclude its fall season.
Matthew Downes, Chad Correia and Matthew Young all finished in top 10 individually out of 41 golfers. Downes and Correia carded five-over-par totals to tie for fourth, while Young posted a six-over-par total to land seventh.
As a team, the Bulldogs shot 292 (+12) in round one, 289 (+9) in round two and a near-flawless 283 (+3) in round three to record an 864 (+24) total.
Bryant also fielded a second team in the tournament that shot 319 (+39) in round one, 301 (+21) in round two and 310 (+30) in round three for a score of 930 (+90).
