BOSTON – Bryant men's basketball graduate forward Keegan Harvey has been named to the America East Preseason All-Conference Team, the league announced ahead of the 2026-27 season.
In addition to the preseason all-conference team, the America East also announced its preseason coaches poll that saw Vermont earn seven of a possible nine first-place votes to take the top spot. Defending champion UMBC and Binghamton received the other first-place votes and are 2-3 in the poll. NJIT was picked fourth, while Bryant came in fifth. UAlbany, UMass Lowell, Maine and New Hampshire round out the nine-team poll.
Harvey returns for his second season in Smithfield after emerging as one of the conference's top frontcourt players in 2025-26. The Newcastle, Australia native was one of only two Bulldogs to start all 31 games last season, averaging 11.2 points, 4.9 rebounds and 1.1 assists per game while shooting 53.9 percent from the field, 40.0 percent from three-point range and 83.2 percent at the free-throw line.
After a strong start to the season, Harvey elevated his play in conference action, averaging a team-best 13.8 points per game against America East opponents while posting an impressive 59-51-81 shooting split. He finished the year with six 20-point performances and three double-doubles.
Harvey closed the 2025-26 campaign playing some of his best basketball. He scored 23 points and grabbed 10 rebounds in a double-overtime battle at New Hampshire before pouring in 21 points in the America East quarterfinals at Vermont.
The Bulldogs open the 2026-27 season on Nov. 2 when they host Siena College at the Chace Athletic Center.
