SMITHFIELD, R.I. -- Bryant men's basketball alumnus Earl Timberlake '25 will compete in the NBA Summer League after receiving an invitation from the Milwaukee Bucks on Friday.

The Upper Marlboro, Md., native is coming off a successful pro debut in the Portugese Liga Betclic, where he averaged 9.9 ppg, 7.0 rpg, 2.0 apg, 1.3 spg and 0.9 bpg. Timberlake shot 55 percent from the field and racked up four double-doubles.

Timberlake asserted himself as one of the greatest athletes in Bryant University history, posting 1,332 points, 773 rebounds, 349 assists, 115 blocks and 98 steals in three seasons. He is the only player in school history with 1000+ pts, 700+ reb, 300+ ast and 100+ blks. Timberlake saved his best for last as he became just the second player in NCAA history to average 15.0+ ppg, 8.0+ rpg, 4.5+ apg and 1.5+ bpg in leading the Black and Gold to America East Regular Season and Tournament titles and its second appearance in the NCAA Tournament. He was named the Kevin Roberson America East Player of the Year and the Reggie Lewis America East Tournament Most Outstanding Player.

In addition to Timberlake, Barry Evans earned a summer league invite from the Phoenix Suns. Evans was also a member of the 2024-25 championship team, averaging 13.3 ppg, 6.8 rpg, 2.7 apg and 1.3 spg in his lone season with the Bulldogs. Evans was named the America East Newcomer of the Year before finishing his collegiate career at VCU in 2025-26.
