BOSTON – Bryant women's soccer senior Samantha Zaslaw was named America East Offensive Player of the week on Monday afternoon.

Zaslaw found the back of the net three times for the Black and Gold this past week, helping Bryant earn its first win of the season. The senior forward recorded two goals against Central Connecticut State University in a 2-0 win.

Zaslaw then went on to find the back of the net again in their Sunday match against Merrimack. Once again, she sent a penalty kick past the opposing goalkeeper.

This is the second America East honor Zaslaw has received in her career. She was named Rookie of the Week in her freshman year and has now added Offensive Player of the week to her resume.

The Bulldogs return to action on Thursday, September 3^rd when they host URI.
