SMITHFIELD, R.I. — Senior Samantha Zaslaw recorded her second-career brace to lead the Bryant women's soccer team to its first win of the season, 2-0, against Central Connecticut State University on Thursday night.
 
With the win, the Bulldogs improve to 1-1-1 on the year. Bryant will face Merrimack on Sunday afternoon in North Andover, Mass.
 
Zaslaw scored in the 26th (penalty) and 68^th minutes to record the second multi-goal game of her career. She also scored twice against Chicago State as a freshman in 2023.

"I thought we started very well and raised our level again in the last quarter of the game to close out the win. We've been working to create and convert more chances to score and our team did that tonight.
