KINGSTON, R.I. – The Bryant Men's soccer team defeated the University of Rhode Island 1-0 Tuesday, August 25 at the URI Soccer Complex in Kingston, Rhode Island.

Marcos Blasco scored his first Bryant goal off a beautiful
Fermin Rodriguez cross in the 21
st minute to give the Bulldogs a 1-0 lead they would hold the rest of the game.
Out of the half, URI mounted pressure, but key saves by
Ramon Camejo kept the Rams off of the scoresheet for his first shutout of the season.
