EASTON, Pa. – The Bryant men's soccer team defeated Lafayette College, 3-0, on Saturday, August 29 at the Gummeson Grounds in Easton, Pennsylvania.
In the fourth minute, graduate student
Nacho Garcia scored his first Bryant goal off of a contested corner kick service. The Bulldogs found the net again before the break, with
Brady Geho converting a one touch finish from a beautiful through ball from
Santiago de Prado.
In the second half, Geho found himself on a partial breakaway. Just before the defender caught him, he slid a pass across the box to de Prado, who scored to extend the Bulldog lead to three.
Aimar Penalver made his first career start in net for the Black and Gold, recording two saves in the shutout.
