BOSTON - Five members of the Bryant University men's lacrosse team earned All-America East honors as announced by the league on Wednesday.
Dawson Rielly was named to the All-America East First Team, while Zac Amend picked up second team honors. Luke Krebs, Caden Lennon and JT Werkmeister were named to the America East All-Rookie team.
Dawson Rielly - First Team All-America East | America East All-Academic
- Earned First Team All-America East for the first time in his Bryant career.
- Rielly finished the regular season with 19 goals, eight ground balls, three assists, and two caused turnovers.
- Rielly recorded a four-goal afternoon against Quinnipiac and a hat trick against UMBC.
- Earned America East All-Academic honors for the second-consecutive season. Rielly currently has a GPA of 3.98 as a double major in Managerial Accounting and Finance.
Zac Amend - Second Team All-America East
- The former America East Rookie of the Year earned Second Team All-Conference honors in his sophomore season.
- Amend currently leads the Black and Gold with 43 points on the season (32g, 11a).
- Amend has recorded 17 ground balls, caused two turnovers and recorded three game-winning goals so far this season.
- Amend recorded a career-high five goals against Iona.
- Amend has recorded three four-goal performances in league play, against Vermont, UMBC and UMass Lowell.
Luke Krebs - America East All-Rookie
- The freshman started all 12 games for the Black and Gold, playing a pivotal role on a defense that has forced opponents to less than 10 goals in each of their last four games.
- Krebs leads the team in caused turnovers with 20, including a four-CT afternoon against Iona.
- Krebs has recorded 26 ground balls so far this season, the most on the team excluding face-off specialists.
Caden Lennon - America East All-Rookie
- Lennon started all 12 games for the Black and Gold.
- Lennon has recorded 19 goals, 17 ground balls, two caused turnovers and one assist so far this season.
- Recorded a four-goal performance in his third game as a Bulldog against Quinnipiac.
- Lennon recorded a hat trick against Iona.
JT Werkmeister - America East All-Rookie
- Werkmeister stepped into the starting defensive role halfway through the season.
- Has recorded 12 ground balls and caused six turnovers so far this season.
- Werkmeister recorded two caused turnovers against Merrimack and UMass Lowell.
Bryant, seeded second, will face third-seeded Vermont in the semifinal round of the 2026 America East Men's Lacrosse Championships on Thursday afternoon at 4:00 p.m.
