BOSTON -- Bryant women's lacrosse junior
Kaelynn O'Brien was named the America East Defender of the Week on Monday afternoon.
O'Brien picks up her third weekly honor after collecting four caused turnovers, three ground balls and seven draw controls in a 2-0 week for the Bulldogs.
On Wednesday at Quinnipiac, she posted a ground ball and five draw controls. She followed that up with two ground balls, four caused turnovers and two draw controls in a win over LIU.
Bryant returns to the field on Saturday when it hosts Vermont in its America East opener at Beirne Stadium. First draw is set for 12:00 p.m.
