SMITHFIELD, R.I. –
Gabriella Constant tallied seven goals for the Bryant women's lacrosse team in a dominant 13-5 win over the LIU Sharks on Saturday at home.
With the win, Bryant moves to 5-3 on the year. The Bulldogs begin America East play next Saturday, facing Vermont at Beirne Stadium.
Constant is now up to 25 goals through the first eight games of the season. Her seven goals is a new career-high for a single game.
Riley O'Mara also recorded her second hat trick of the season for the Bulldogs. She's up to 15 goals through the first eight games of the season.

- Constant tallied five out of Bryant's six goals in the first quarter to give the Bulldogs the 6-0 edge.
How it Happened
- The Bulldogs raced out to a 6-0 lead in the opening frame. Constant scored five out of the six goals and Riley O'Mara added another for Bryant. Constant capped off her scoring rampage by bouncing off two defenders and firing a shot into the left corner of the net.
- Constant picked up where she left off to begin the second quarter, scoring her sixth goal of the game. Then, Elise Larsen added her first goal, whipping a shot into the bottom left corner of the net, making it 8-0 Bulldogs.
- Bryant then tacked on two more to close out the first half. Sophia Fruci dished a beautiful pass to O'Mara who finished in front for her second goal. Then, Ashling Marshall added her first goal to give the Bulldogs the 10-0 lead at the halftime break.
- After two high-scoring quarters, the game settled down in the third frame. The Sharks scored their first of the game on a free position shot. Then, the Bulldogs countered as O'Mara came streaking down the middle and ripped a shot into the right corner, completing the hat trick and putting Bryant up 11-1.
- LIU opened the fourth quarter with three straight goals to make it an 11-4 deficit. Constant put an end to the Sharks scoring run, burying a shot in the left corner for her seventh goal of the game. Then, Constant dished a pass to Leyna Schnetzer who flicked it in the left side of the cage. LIU scored in the dying seconds to close out a 13-5 win for Bryant.

- O'Mara recorded her second hat trick of the season. Her first came in the season opener against Sacred Heart (2/7/26). She's scored in each of the last five games.
- O'Brien now has seven games with multiple caused turnovers this season. She now has 104 caused turnovers in her career, ranking her third all-time in Bryant history behind Molly Martin (14-17) and Michelle Lewis (2003-05).
