BULLDOGS DEFEAT VERMONT IN AE OPENER

SMITHFIELD, R.I. – The Bryant women's lacrosse team recorded their third consecutive win on Saturday afternoon, defeating the Vermont Catamounts 8-7 in the America East conference opener at Beirne Stadium.

With the win, Bryant moves to 6-3 on the year. The Bulldogs take on Brown on Tuesday on the road.

Emily DeGeorge and Ashling Marshall each recorded hat tricks for the Bulldogs. DeGeorge now has 24 goals in eight games this season and has back-to-back hat tricks. Marshall recorded her first career hat trick.

  • It was a defensive battle for the first 13 minutes on Saturday as the score remained 0-0.
