WORCESTER, Mass. –
Gabriella Constant recorded her fourth consecutive hat trick, but it wasn't enough for the Bryant women's lacrosse team, falling to the Holy Cross Crusaders 13-11 on Friday night at Kuzniewski Field.
With the loss, Bryant moves to 3-3 on the year. The Bulldogs have another road contest on Wednesday at Quinnipiac.
Kaelynn O'Brien recorded her 100
th career caused turnover as a Bulldog, finishing the night with two.
Constant is now up to 17 goals through the first six games of the season.

How it Happened
- The Bulldogs raced out to a 3-0 lead in the first five minutes. Constant opened the scoring by ripping a shot into the top right corner off a dish from Elise Larsen. Then, Emily DeGeorge and Riley O'Mara each netted a goal to give Bryant the 3-0 edge.
- The Crusaders responded with a pair of goals, but Bryant countered to go up 4-2. Larsen carried the ball behind the net and fired a shot that snuck into the left side of the net. Holy Cross finished out the quarter by scoring with 43 seconds remaining, making it 4-3 Bryant after the opening frame.
- Bryant started off the second quarter strong, utilizing two goals from Constant to make it 6-3 Bulldogs. Constant capped off the hat trick by streaking down the right side and whipping a shot into the left corner. The Bulldogs added two more goals before the media break, including a goal on the woman-up from Malin-Skye Turnquist and Constant's fourth tally of the night.
- The Crusaders used three goals to cut the deficit to 8-6, leading into the halftime break.
- Just like the two previous quarters, Bryant opened the scoring. Leyna Schnetzer added her first of the game, then O'Mara tacked on her second goal to put the Bulldogs up 10-6 in the third quarter. Holy Cross answered with a pair of goals, trimming the deficit to 10-8 leading into the end of the third quarter.
- The momentum from the end of the third quarter carried over into the fourth for the Crusaders, striking for a pair of goals in a minute and thirty-three seconds to tie the game 10-10.
- Holy Cross struck for two more to take their first lead of the night, 12-10, capping off a ferocious rally. Bryant got a much-needed response to pull within one. Larsen dropped off a pass for DeGeorge who sneaked it in the back of the cage off a deflection from the goalkeeper's stick.
- The Crusaders delivered the knockout blow shortly after DeGeorge's tally to secure the 13-11 comeback victory.
