SEASIDE, Calif. - Abdel Talabi has signed a contract to play professionally for Monterey Bay FC as announced by the organization last Tuesday.

Talabi had been with the Black and Gold since 2021 and became a primary starter in his sophomore season. 

The captain anchored a Bryant defensive front that only allowed eight goals during the 2025 regular season. Talabi earned First team All-ECAC and All-America East honors.

Talabi has provided excellent defense for the Black and Gold and has proven to be a powerful force on set pieces as he knocked in three of them to double his all-time goals at Bryant. 

Talabi joins the Monterey program ahead of the 2026 USL Championship. Talabi is the third Bulldog to sign a professional contract this offseason.
