SMITHFIELD, R.I. – The No. 10 ranked Bryant men's soccer team announced a challenging 2026 schedule that features six NCAA Tournament opponents from a season ago and 10 games at Beirne Stadium.
The Bulldogs are coming off one of the most successful seasons in school history, going 17-2-3, reaching the NCAA Third Round and ranking as high as No. 2 nationally before finishing the year ranked No. 10. Bryant has emerged as one of the nation's premier teams over the last three seasons, posting a 43-10-9 record, three-straight appearances in the America East Championship game and two trips to the NCAA Tournament. The Bulldogs' 43 wins are the second-most nationally over the last three years.
Schedule Highlights
- Bryant will face six teams that qualified for the 2025 NCAA Tournament; Lafayette, Western Michigan, Princeton, Vermont, UConn, Hofstra.
- The Bulldogs will play three teams that finished the year ranked in the top 25; Vermont, Hofstra, UConn.
- Bryant will play 10 of its 17 games at home this season, marking the first time since 2022 that the Bulldogs will play more home games than road games.
- The 10 games will include regional power UMass, Western Michigan (NCAA), in-state rival Providence, Princeton (NCAA) and Hofstra (NCAA).
- Bryant will spend nearly the entire month of September in Smithfield, playing 5-of-6 games at Beirne Stadium.
Bryant opens its season on August 20 when it welcomes UMass to Beirne Stadium (6:00 PM) in a matchup of regional powers. The Bulldogs earned a 1-0 win over then-No. 20 UMass last September in Amherst. Bryant will hit the road for the next two games, traveling to in-state rival URI (Aug. 25) and NCAA Tournament participant Lafayette (Aug. 29).
The Black and Gold return to Beirne Stadium on September 2 (TBD) to begin a five-game homestand that takes up nearly the entire month. It begins with a visit from NCAA Tournament participant and first-time opponent Western Michigan and is followed by a visit from Patriot League foe Colgate (Sept. 6, 1:00 PM). In-state rival Providence visits Saturday, September 12 (6:00 PM) and Dartmouth comes to Smithfield on September 15 (7:00 PM). Bryant wraps up the homestand with a marquee Homecoming and Reunion Weekend matchup with NCAA participant Princeton (Sept. 19). The Bulldogs and Tigers will kickoff at 6:00 p.m. following an American football matchup between the two schools that kicks off at 1:00 p.m.
Bryant's first road game in a month will be its America East opener at defending champion and rival Vermont on Sept. 26. The two teams made history last year, becoming the first America East foes to play a regular season game when both were ranked in the top five nationally.
The Bulldogs continue America East play on October 2 when it faces UMBC (7:00 PM) at Beirne Stadium. Bryant will then play its next three on the road, traveling to UConn (Oct. 6, NCAA), UAlbany (Oct. 10) and UMass Lowell (Oct. 17).
Bryant will play of three of its final four games at home beginning with a Tuesday night (7:00 PM) battle with NCAA participant Hofstra (Oct. 20). The Bulldogs will host Binghamton (Oct. 25, 4:00 PM), travel to NJIT (Oct. 30) and host New Hampshire (Nov. 3, 7:00 PM) to wrap up the regular season.
