BOSTON - Bryant University men's lacrosse senior Luke Mead was named America East Defensive Player of the Week last Monday, as announced by the organization.

Mead forced two turnovers and recorded four ground balls on a Saturday afternoon in Queens against St. John's. Excluding specialists, Luke Mead currently leads the team in ground balls with 18. This is Mead's first America East honor this season.
