How it Happened

- Davidson was able to answer with a run in the bottom of the fourth but Cole Schiff limited the damage as he left the bases loaded.
- Bryant closed the game to 5-3 in the top of the fifth as Greger brought home Wensley with a sac fly.
- It remained close thanks to great relief work from Bradley Lewis and Tommy Flaherty in the fifth and sixth innings. Both Lewis and Flaherty struck out back-to-back batters to strand runners.
- Bryant was able to take the lead with three runs in the top of the seventh. Jacob Gaudreau walked and Gavin Greger singled to put two runners on. Garcia then ripped a single to left that was misplayed by the left fielder. Both runners scored and Garcia ended up on third. Zyons followed with a sac fly to give Bryant a 6-5 lead.
- Davidson would answer in the bottom of the seventh to send the game to extras. Torreso doubled to open the inning and came around to score on Lietz single.
- In the top of the eighth, Papetti was hit by a pitch and Wensley walked to open the inning. Carlos Irizarry advanced the runners with a sac bunt and Fiatarone followed with a two-run single to right field. Saul added an RBI infield single and a balk made it 10-6.
- Davidson rallied in the bottom of the eighth to win it with five runs on five hits. A hit batter and a single opened the inning before an RBI single brought in the first run.
