BOSTON- Graduate Defender Nacho Garcia was named America East Defensive Player of the Week, announced Monday, October 12.

Garcia earns his first Defensive Player of the Week honors of the season. He played 90 minutes of both games last week, anchoring the back line that did not allow a goal from open play. Garcia has appeared in 10 matches this season, starting nine and playing the full 90 minutes in seven. He scored his first goal of the season on 8/29 at Lafayette.
 
Bryant travels to UMass Lowell for an America East match up on Saturday, October 17 at Cushing Field in Lowell, Massachusetts. Kickoff is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. and will be streamed on ESPN+.
