SMITHFIELD, R.I.- Head Coach
Ruben Resendes recorded his 50
th win at the helm of the Bryant University men's soccer program with tonight's 1-0 win over the University of Connecticut.
He becomes the fifth fastest active Division I coach to reach the 50-win mark, having done so in 73 games. The 50 wins are currently tied for the most in Division I soccer since Resendes took over the program for the 2023 season.
"The milestone is a reflection of the incredible players, coaches, and support staff and administration who has contributed to our program over the past few years…" said Resendes. "We've been fortunate to have some truly special people come through Bryant who have believed in what we're building and committed themselves to something bigger than any individual."
Resendes record at Bryant is currently 50-12-11 (.760), and his career record is 149-20-15 (.851).
"I say it every year, but I am incredibly grateful to be a Bulldog and to everyone who has played a part over the last few years," said Resendes, "I'm proud of the ambitious goals and objectives we set and chase every year together. We will continue to do our best to improve week by week and achieve great things this season and beyond."
