SMITHFIELD, R.I. - Tiago Dias has signed a contract to play professionally for Fort Wayne Football Club, a soccer program preparing for its inaugural season in USL League One.

Dias previously spent three seasons at Fort Wayne FC when they were a USL League Two club, including three consecutive USL League Two Valley Division titles in 2023, 2024 and 2025. 

Dias is the first player to be signed by Fort Wayne FC ahead of their inaugural USL League One season. Dias was a captain of the club in 2024 and 2025. 

Dias was a starting defender for the nationally-ranked Black and Gold this season, playing a pivotal role on a defense that finished the regular season with 11 shutouts. Dias earned Second Team All-Northeast Region and Second Team All-America East honors for his efforts in the 2025 season.
