DURHAM, N.H. – The Bryant University women's basketball team defeated New Hampshire 51-45 in overtime on the road on Saturday.
Maranda Nyborg led the way for the Black and Gold, scoring 14 points, with ten of her points being scored in the fourth quarter and overtime.
Mia Mancini tallied 11 points and hit a clutch three-pointer in overtime.
Mimi Rubino posted 11 points, knocking down three from beyond the arc.

- The Bulldogs outscored UNH 10-4 in overtime, including finishing the game on a 6-0 run in the final two minutes of OT after the Wildcats cut the lead to one.
How it Happened
- Both teams struggled offensively, scoring only two points apiece in the game's first five minutes (2-2). Izzy Adams scored for the Bulldogs on a dish from Olivia Fernandez.
- The Bulldogs closed the quarter on a 9-6 run, with Mimi Rubino (5) and Maranda Nyborg (4) scoring all of Bryant's points (11-8).
- The Black and Gold held the Wildcats scoreless for five minutes, and tallied five of their own, behind a Rubino three-pointer and an Adams turnaround jumper (16-8).
- Bryant's defense held strong, allowing only three points for UNH for the remainder of the half. The Bulldogs tallied an 8-3 run to end the first half, with Rubino nailing her third from deep in the half (24-11).
- UNH came out in the second half on a 13-2 run, shrinking the Bulldog lead to five with six minutes remaining in the third quarter (26-21).
- The Wildcats decreased the Bryant lead to one with 4:45 left in the quarter. The Bulldogs responded with a 5-2 run courtesy of a Mia Mancini corner triple and a Nia Scott steal in score, giving the Black and Gold a five-point advantage heading into the fourth (32-27).
- Bryant created a 7-4 run in the first five minutes of the final quarter. With Adams tallying five points, including a corner three-pointer to start the quarter (39-31).
- UNH responded with a 5-0 run, closing the gap to three points with one and a half minutes left in the game (39-36).
- Nyborg hit a free-throw line jumper with under a minute left to extend the lead to five (41-36). On the ensuing possession, the Wildcats were fouled behind the three-point line and made all three (41-39).
- On UNH's next possession, they tied the game at 41 with 7.8 remaining. Bryant called a timeout. The final shot was no good, sending the game to overtime.
- The Wildcats hit the first shot of overtime, and Bryant countered with a quick 5-0 run, off of a Maranda Nyborg jumper and Mancini three-pointer (46-43), giving the Bulldogs a three-point advantage with two minutes left.
- UNH countered with a bucket (46-45), and then the Black and Gold sealed the game, holding the Wildcats to no more points for the remainder of overtime and scoring six points (51-45).
