NEWARK, N.J. – Sebastian Robinson's 22 points and a offensive outburst in the second half led NJIT to a 79-55 victory over the Bryant men's basketball team on Monday afternoon at the WEC.
With the loss, the Bulldogs fall to 6-13 overall and 2-3 in league play. Bryant will be off on Thursday before returning to the Chace Athletic Center on Saturday (Jan. 24) to host Vermont.
Bryant led briefly in the first half and trailed by just six at the break but the Highlanders went 17-of-28 from the field and 9-of-15 from three in the second half to put the game away. Robinson led with 22, while David Bolden went 5-of-9 from three.
Timofei Rudovskii and
Aaron Davis III both finished with 11 but played the game in foul trouble from the outset.
Keegan Harvey added 10 for the Black and Gold who have now lost two of their three league games by 20+ points.
