STORRS, Conn. – The No. 14 Bryant University men's soccer team scored three goals in the first 35 minutes and went on to earn its second ranked win of the season, 4-1 against No. 22 Connecticut on Tuesday night.
The longest active winning streak in NCAA men's soccer continues off the backs of team defense, and braces from
Mamadi Jiana and
Fermin Rodriguez.
The Bulldogs earned their eighth-straight win of the season improving their record to a firm 8-0-1. This win for the Bulldogs is the longest winning streak under head coach
Ruben Resendes.

- Fermin Rodriguez created an opportunity for trouble early by driving into open space and passing the ball to Marc Pitarch Bayot. Pitarch Bayot received all of the attention from the defense as Rodriguez cut behind the defenders, called for the ball and gets to the spot of the pass before anyone else, delivering a strike for the bottom left corner to start a stretch of three goals scored in eight minutes.
