BOSTON - Sophomores
Jaime Amaro and
Ramon Camejo of the Bryant University men's soccer team earned America East Offensive and Defensive Player of the Week honors as announced by the organization this morning.
Ramon Camejo started two games in net for the Black and Gold this past week. Two clean sheets and four total saves in the record books this week for the young goalkeeper. This is Camejo's first Player of the Week honor this season and of his Bulldog career. His clean performance allowed for the Bulldogs to stretch their winning streak to seven games.
Jaime Amaro registered five points in the two shutout victories this week. Amaro scored two goals and an assist this week. This is the first Player of the Week honor this season and of his Bulldog career.
The Black and Gold will take the trip out west to Connecticut tomorrow to play against the Huskies. The next home game for the Bulldogs will be against UMass Lowell on Sunday, Sept. 28. For more information on Bryant University men's soccer, follow the Bulldogs on Instagram at
