Smithfield, R.I. – Jaime Amaro scored a goal and an assist in the second half lifting the No. 17 Bryant University men's soccer team to a 2-0 victory over Saint Joseph's on Tuesday night at Beirne Stadium.

The Bulldogs earned their sixth-straight win of the season improving their dominant early record to 6-0-1. A win next Saturday would tie for the longest winning streak under head coach Ruben Resendes.

The Bulldogs brought in plenty of fresh faces in this contest anticipating a strong non-conference opponent to take on. The first half was a defensive deadlock with neither team got a shot on goal. Bryant would build a lead that would not be relinquished with two goals in the second half.

• Ramon Camejo started his second game of the season in net. The goalkeeper remained alert in his clean sheet, saving the one opportunity the Hawks had at getting back into the game.
