Meaghan Houk hit a go-ahead three-run home run in the Bryant University softball team's 5-1 victory against Maine in the America East Playoffs.
Bryce Clendenin hit a solo HR, and
Maddy Wachter pitched a complete game, striking out seven and holding the Black Bears to one hit.
With the win, the Bulldogs advance to Friday and will face No. 3 seed UAlbany in an elimination game at 1:30 p.m.

How it Happened
- In the top of the first, the Black Bears hit an RBI-double with two outs (1-0).
- Laniya Lewis reached on an error, which was followed by a Hannah Cochran single. Makenna Coleman then hit a sac-fly to deep center field (1-1). Sam Rohwer drew a walk, leading to a Houk three-run home run (4-1).
- In the bottom of the sixth, Clendenin hit a solo HR to right field (5-1).
