How it Happened

• In the bottom of the first, UMBC hit a two-run home run (2-0).
• McKenzie McAloon hit a leadoff double and advanced to third on a sacrifice bunt. She then scored on a fielder's choice (2-1) in the top of the second.
• UMBC hit a two-run HR and scored two more runs on a Bulldog error in the bottom of the second (6-1).
• Rohwer knocked a solo HR in the top of the third, her third homer of the series (6-2).
• In the bottom of the third, the Retrievers scored two runs on a single (8-2).
• The Reteievers tallied six runs in the bottom of the fourth, leading to the end of the game in five (14-2).
