SMITHFIELD, R.I. – The Bryant baseball team rode the arms of
Luke Delongchamp,
Landon White and
Michael Belcher to a 3-1 victory over in-state rival Brown on Saturday afternoon at Conaty Park.
The Bulldogs improve to 7-8-1 overall with the victory. Bryant and Brown wrap up their weekend series with a doubleheader on Sunday beginning at 11:00 a.m.
Delongchamp fired three scoreless innings to get things start, White tossed a scoreless frame and Belcher pitched the final five innings to earn his first collegiate win. He struck out six and didn't walk a batter.

How it Happened
- Brown took a 1-0 lead with on a wild pitch in the top of the fifth.
- Evan Blake quickly responded for the Bulldogs, hammering an 0-2 pitch over the left field wall for a solo home run.
- It remained tied into the seventh and the Bulldogs loaded the bases with three walks. Noriega then lined one into the right field corner to score two runners and give Bryant a 3-1 lead.
- Belcher then retired six of the final seven batters to close the door.
