ALBANY, N.Y. –
Liam Lindo blocked the potential game-tying field goal with one minute and thirty seconds left after
Nicholas Stoyanovich gave the Bulldogs a 27-24 lead, which was set up by a
Dedric Walker sack in the Bryant University football team's 27-24 victory over UAlbany in New York.
With the victory, the Black and Gold earned their first CAA victory in program history. The Bulldogs are now 3-7 overall and 1-5 in the CAA and return to Beirne Stadium next Saturday to host New Hampshire on Senior Day.
On Saturday, Bryant trailed 24-17 heading into the fourth quarter but scored twice in the final 10 minutes to upend the Great Danes.
Ridge Docekal's touchdown pass to
Tristen Riley on fourth-and-goal tied the game with 9:51 left and Walker's strip sack setup Stoyanovich's eventual game-winning field goal with 5:43 left. Bryant's defense then did the rest, blocking a game-tying field goal attempt with 1:30 left in the contest.

- The Bulldogs fumbled the Ball on 3rd and long, giving UAlbany the ball at the Bryant 28-yard line. The Great Danes then scored on an 18-yard touchdown pass over the middle (10-0) to start the second quarter.
- The Bulldogs countered with a nine-play drive that included a 28-yard completion to Todd Phillips on 4th down, which set up Elijah Elliott, who ran up the middle for a seven-yard touchdown (10-7).
- The Great Danes responded with a five-play drive that saw the tight-end get free on the outside for a 33-yard touchdown reception with just under five minutes left in the first half (17-7).
- The offenses keep clicking, as Jaden Keefner hit Zyheem Collick over the top for a 68-yard touchdown pass just two plays after UAlbany scored (17-14).
- The Black and Gold began with the ball to start the second half and produced an 11-play drive that was highlighted by a 30-yard completion to Aldrich Doe. The drive was stopped in the red zone, which resulted in a Nicholas Stoyanovich 21-yard field goal to tie the game at 17.
- Bryant fumbled the ball on their own 32-yard line, which led to a Great Danes seven-play drive that resulted in a three-yard quarterback sneak breaking the tie (24-17) with 3:41 left in the third quarter.
- The Bulldogs' defense pinned UAlbany deep, which resulted in a short punt for the Great Danes, putting Bryant on the opponent's 40-yard line. The Black and Gold then produced an eleven-play drive that saw Ridge Docekal hit Tristen Riley twice on 4th downs, one to keep the drive moving and the other for a touchdown (24-24), tying the game with just under ten left in the fourth quarter.
- Dedric Walker hit the quarterback on the blind side, causing a fumble, which the Bulldogs recovered on the 22-yard line. This led to a Stoyanovich field goal giving the Black and Gold the lead with 5:43 left in the game (27-24).
- With a minute thirty remaining, UAlbany was called for an intentional grounding on third down, which made the potential game-tying field goal a 34-yarder. The kick was then blocked by Liam Lindo, securing the victory for Bryant.
