Box Score SMITHFIELD, R.I. – The University of New Hampshire defeated the Bryant football team, 42-14, on Saturday afternoon at Beirne Stadium.
With the loss, the Black and Gold fall to 3-8 overall and 1-6 in the CAA. Bryant wraps up the season next Saturday at Stony Brook.
Elijah Elliott rushed for 60 yards and two touchdowns, while
Michael Otty collected a pair of TFLs.
Ridge Docekal finished 16-of-30 for 136 yards and an interception.

- UNH answered Bryant's first score with a 72-yard touchdown on the very next play to retake the momentum.
How it Happened
- UNH forced a three-and-out and then produced a five-play, 61-yard drive to open the scoring. Casey McKinney posted the touchdown with a 35-yard catch-and-run score.
- The Wildcats pushed the lead to 14-0 with a five-yard touchdown pass with 6:12 left in the first half.
- Bryant was able to answer with a 14-play, 75-yard drive that took 6:17 off the clock. Docekal converted a 4th-and-1 with a three-yard rush and a pass interference put the ball inside the UNH 9. Elliott would punch it in from three yards out to make it 14-7.
- UNH quickly answered as Matt Vezza connected with Caleb Burke for 72 yards on the first play from scrimmage to make it 21-7.
- Vezza then connected with Peyton Strickland for a 19-yard score to make it 28-7 with 7:18 left in the first half.
- UNH opened the second half with an impressive 15-play, 84-yard drive that was capped by a five-yard score by Chase Wilson.
- Bryant's second scoring drive was setup by a Dedric Walker interception in the endzone. He returned it to the 25 and Bryant then drove 75 yards in seven plays to make it 35-14.
- Docekal connected with Aldrich Doe for 14 yards, Tristen Riley for 11 yards and then stepped up in the pocket to hit Zyheem Collick for 36 yards to the UNH 1. Elliott then punched it in.
- UNH put the game away with a 54-yard touchdown run with 4:17 left in the game.
