DURHAM, N.H. –
Jaime Amaro and
Paco Fernandez each scored a goal to lift the No. 6 Bryant University men's soccer team to a 2-0 win against New Hampshire in the regular season finale on Tuesday evening at Wildcat Stadium.
The Bulldogs took a lead early in the match when
Jaime Amaro stole the ball from a Wildcat defender in the box and passed to
Paco Fernandez for the seventh minute score. Amaro got behind the goalkeeper in the 16
th minute to bring the game to the final score.
The Bulldogs finish the season with a 15-1-2 record on the season including a 6-1 record in the America East. With this game in the books the Black and Gold finish with the No. 2 seed in the America East. The Bulldogs will await the matchup between No. 6 seed UMass Lowell and No. 3 UAlbany on Saturday, Nov. 8, to see who they will host in the Semifinals on Wednesday, Nov. 12.
