SMITHFIELD, R.I. –
Muslim Umar scored his first goal of the season to lift the 11
th seeded Bryant University men's soccer team to a 1-0 win in a tight match against Seton Hall in the second round of the 2025 NCAA Division I men's soccer championship.
Mamadi Jiana layered an excellent pass down the pitch early in the second half to get the Bulldogs rolling.
Muslim Umar tracked the ball brilliantly and delivered a header for the only goal of the match.
With this win in the books the Bulldogs are set to host the third round of the NCAA Division I men's soccer championships against Saint Louis this upcoming weekend. The Black and Gold have a record of 17-2-2 and are the highest-seeded program in their quadrant of the bracket.
