COACH GARLACY'S COMMENTS
"Arianna and Aubrey both had stellar nights hitting at  a high efficiency rate along with our middles, Brookelyn and London. This made us hard to predict and defend. Paring that with the aggressive serving and defense of Fabi and Carolina provided us the opportunity to finish the match."
HOW IT HAPPENED
  • Set 1- Although the first set was close early on, the Bulldogs were unable to find their footing and let URI go on a scoring run late. Despite four kills from Aubrey LaPour, the Rams would cruise to an opening set victory winning 25-21.
  • Set 2- The second set would see Bryant return to form and take control thanks to great offensive performances by LaPour, Ugolini, and Hunt. Carolina Camacho also logged 8 assists in the set and helped Bryant tie the score at 1-1.
  • Set 3-The third set saw Bryant maintain a narrow advantage until the very end. Ugolini and LaPour combined for 10 kills and Brookelyn Talmadge posted 3 blocks.
  • Set 4-The final set would see the Bulldogs and the Rams go back and forth throughout, but ultimately Bryant would prevail with a final score of 25-22. Ugolini and LaPour would once again put up critical offensive points and the combination of Camacho and Isik would finish with 17 assists in the final set.
