DURHAM, N.H. – On Saturday, the Bryant University football team fell to New Hampshire 38-17 on the road in the CAA opener.
Jarrett Guest threw for 335 yards and one score.
Landon Ruggieri recorded 118 yards and a touchdown.
Ryan Clark posted his first rushing touchdown of the season.
Olatunde Mkparu and
Lonnie Rice lead the Bulldogs in tackles with seven.
Michael Otty tallied a sack, while
Nathan Voorhis and
Maximus Villar each picked up a 0.5 sack.
The Black and Gold's defense bounced back in the second half, holding the Wildcats to 121 yards and one score after UNH tallied 31 points in the first half.

- Bryant responded with a Bryce Soli field-goal, highlighted by a 55-yard pass over the top to Ruggieri (17-3).
- UNH began the second quarter in the red zone and scored a touchdown off of a play-action pass to the tight end (24-3).
- The Wildcats gained a 31-3 lead halfway through the second quarter off of a pass up the middle.
- On 3rd and 7 Guest found Fabrice Mukendi in the flat for an 18-yard gain, giving Bryant a first down. Guest then ran for 11 on the next play, which was followed by a 42-yard touchdown to Ruggieri up the middle of the field, giving the Bulldogs their first touchdown of the game (31-10).
- To begin the fourth quarter the Black and Gold used the run game to move down the fieild. Mukendi had a powerful 17-yard run and then Dylan Kedzior tallied 23 yards on five carries, which was capped off by a direct snap to Clark for the touchdown (31-17).
- UNH countered with a seven-play drive, that resulted in a touchdown off of a 31-yard pass to the back of the endzone (38-17).
