Location: Smithfield, RI (Track & Turf Complex)
First Draw: Saturday, March 16th - 11:00am

Series History

  • Saturday's contest will be the second meeting between the two sides.
  • These teams played each other for the first time last season after Bryant joined the America East.
  • Bryant won last year's matchup, a tight 13-12 game in Baltimore.

Notes and Notables

  • Saturday's game will be in dedication to Morgan's Message. Morgan's Message honors the life and legacy of former Duke women's lacrosse player Morgan Rodgers who passed tragically after facing mental health struggles. Bryant athletes will be wearing shirts and promoting Morgan's Message during Saturday's game to help break the stigma surrounding mental health.
  • The Bulldogs have hit the part of their schedule where they will only play one game a week so expect the squad to be fresh going into this weekend's matchup.
  • In last year's game against UMBC, Kenna Kaut played a crucial role in the victory and scored eight goals for Bryant.

About the Retrievers

  • UMBC enters the game 5-3 on the season so far. Saturday's game will be the first conference game for the Retrievers as well.
  • Through eight games, redshirt junior Grace Bruce is the team's leading scorer with 27 goals. She also has two assists to bring her points total to 29 on the campaign.
