SMITHFIELD, R.I. – The Bryant men's basketball team returns to the Chace Athletic Center for the first time in nearly a month as it hosts in-state rival Brown on Friday night. Tip is set for 6:00 p.m.

Bryant recently completed a season-long seven-game road trip with a 78-73 victory over CAA foe Drexel on Monday night. Friday will mark Bryant's first home game since November 8.

THE SERIES
- Brown owns an 11-4 edge in the Division I series between the two programs.
- The road team has won each of the last four meetings, with the Black and Gold earning a 69-66 win in Providence a year ago.
- Bryant erased a 10-point second-half deficit last season thanks to Miles Latimer. Latimer scored all nine of his points in the final 9:57 to lead the way.
- The Black and Gold have not beaten Brown at home since Nov. 27, 2013.
BRYANT DOWNS DREXEL MONDAY NIGHT
- Bryant built a 15-point lead but had to break a late tie to earn a 78-73 victory over Drexel on Monday night.
- The Dragons battled back to tie the game at 64-64 but Rafael Pinzon scored 11 of Bryant's final 14 points to help the Bulldogs pull away.
ROAD RECAP
- Monday's win wrapped up a 4-3 road trip for the Black and Gold. Bryant opened it with victories at Buffalo and Delaware before dropping games to Stonehill and St. Bonaventure.
- Bryant then split two games at the Coke Classic in Chattanooga, Tenn., during Thanksgiving Week.
- The Bulldogs averaged 79.9 ppg in the seven games, with Rafael Pinzon posted a team-best 17.4.

- Rafael Pinzon comes back to the Chace following a 31-point effort at Drexel on Monday. He made 11-of-17 from the field, including 4-of-6 from three.
- The Arecibo, Puerto Rico, native shot 62.5 percent (20-32) from three during Bryant's seven-game road trip and is shooting 56.5 percent on the year.
FIVE MORE THINGS TO KNOW
- Bryant was No. 156 in the first NET Ranking that was released for games through December 1, 2024. Maine is the highest America East school, coming in at No. 147.
- Earl Timberlake was named to the early season watch list for the Lou Henson Award, presented annually to the best player in mid-major college basketball. Timberlake posted his third double-double of the year at Drexel, finishing with 23 points and 12 rebounds. He is averaging 14.8 ppg, 7.9 rpg and 5.0 apg.
- Rafael Pinzon leads the Bulldogs with 19.1 ppg and is currently one of the nation's top three-point threats. He is averaging 2.88 3pFG per game and ranks 5th nationally in 3pFG percentage, hitting a blistering 56 percent. Pinzon is 12-of-17 from three over his last three games.
- Kvonn Cramer made his first start of the season on Monday at Drexel and contributed 11 points and six rebounds in 30 minutes. The 30 minutes represent the most in Cramer's Bryant career. He is now averaging 9.8 ppg over his last four games and is shooting 61 percent from the field in that stretch.
- Barry Evans is Bryant's third leading scorer, averaging 12.3 ppg on the year. He was held to just three points on Monday but did grab 10 boards. Evans is second on the team with 6.8 rpg and is also contributing 2.4 apg and 1.1 spg.
