WORCESTER, Mass. – Holy Cross scored a trio of second quarter goals to earn a 3-2 victory over the Bryant field hockey team on Sunday afternoon.
Bryant will close the regular season on Friday, November 1 at Cowen Field. The Bulldogs will face UC Davis with a win securing a spot in the America East Championships. Bryant will also recognize its senior class.

- Bryant got on the board on a penalty corner. Callie Caito inserted to Filou Verhoeven and Verhoeven was able to rocket a shot into the back of the cage.
Fourth Quarter
- Bryant made it a one-goal game with 2:48 left on a goal from Natalie Griffin. Abby Crowley carried the ball into the circle and slid it across to Jaedyn Scarlatos. The ball then came back to Griffin and she slotted it into an open cage.

- Bryant falls to 5-12 on the year.
- The Bulldogs are now 7-6 all-time vs Holy Cross. The Crusaders snapped Bryant's two-game winning streak in the series.
- Verhoeven's goal was her fourth of the season. She now has a team-leading 16 points (4g, 8a).
- Caito picked up her fourth assist and now has 10 points (3g, 4a) on the year.
- Griffin scored her fourth goal of the year.
- Scarlatos picked up her second assist.
- Maud van Lierop came on in the second half and made six saves to keep Holy Cross off the board.
