This is the first time that the Bulldogs and Retrievers will be meeting in DI program history.
SCOUTING THE RETRIEVERS
UMBC heads into Saturday's matchup with a 5-9 overall record and a 2-1 conference schedule. The Retrievers defeated Binghamton and UVM before suffering their first AE loss to UAlbany on Wednesday. KK White leads the team in scoring with 11.8. Kiara Bell is not far behind, averaging 10.4.
WHAT TO KNOW
- Dana Kiefer shined off the bench, scoring a career-high 14 points vs. UVM while making three from deep.
- Nicole Gallagher posted another 10+ point performance with her 14-point game against the Catamounts. Gallagher now has scored at least 10 points in all three AE games.
- Kemari Reynolds tallied a career-high 11 points on Wednesday. Reynolds has had three 10-point performances in the last five games. She also led the Dawgs in rebounds against UVM for the first time this season with eight.
- The Black and Gold are looking for their first America East win in DI program history. The Bulldogs have lost the last two games by one point.
