BRYANT MEN'S LACROSSE HOSTS ASSUMPTION TUESDAY NIGHT

Winners of six-straight, the Bryant University men's lacrosse
team hosts Assumption College Tuesday evening under the lights at
the Turf Field Complex for a Northeast-10 Conference
matchup. Tuesday's game is the first of three-straight at
home for the Bulldogs who will host Saint Anselm Saturday at 3 pm
and wrap up the regular season next Saturday hosting Southern NH
for Senior Day.
SCOUTING THE BULLDOGS
Bryant is led this season by the junior combo of Kevin
Hoagland and Bryan Kaufmann who have been
putting up some impressive numbers on opposing defenses. Hoagland
enters tonight's game with 30 goals on the year - including 11 in
three wins last week. Kaufmann (23 goals on the season) is
currently at 99 goals for his career ... Senior
Michael Kennedy has 35 career victories and brings
a 6.74 GAA into tonight's game with the Greyhounds ...
Freshman Gary Crowley is third on the team with 13
goals and 8 assists while junior Jim Long is next
with 13 g, 7a ... The Bulldog defense, led by standouts
Corey MacDougall, Matt Murnane
and Joe Rauchet are allowing just over six goals a
game .... Vince Zorskas needs 15 ground
balls to move into second all-time at Bryant. Zorskas comes into
tonight's game with 184 in his career. Brian Healey is the
all-time leader with 400 ... Face-Off specialist
Andrew Hennessey has won 145 of 216 draws this
season (.671).
LOOKING AT THE GREYHOUNDS
Assumption looks to snap a seven-game losing skid tonight.
The Greyhounds are coming off a 19-1 loss to top-ranked Le Moyne
Saturday. The two wins this year have come against Briarcliffe
(21-3) and Nichols (13-3). Brandon MacNeil leads the way with
7g, 14a while Mike Molk is next with 12g, 6a.
CONGRATS BULLDOGS
Bryant swept all three weekly Northeast-10 Conference
honors Monday with Kevin Hoagland earning Player
of the Week, Gary Crowley tabbed as Freshman of
the Week and Michael Kennedy picking up Goalkeeper
of the Week.
