Northeast-10 Women's Volleyball

SMITHFIELD, RI -    Bryant senior middle Jessica Cegarra (Danville, N.H.) hit .406 with 19 kills and just six errors to lead the Bulldog women's volleyball team to a 3-1 win over American International College Wednesday night at the Chace Athletic Center.

Junior Likica Grceva (Natick, Mass.) added 16 kills for the Bulldogs who opened strong, winning the first two games 30-20, 30-21 before AIC roared back to take the third 32-30.  Bryant trailed 25-22 in the third before making a strong comeback to tie the match on back-to-back kills by Tiffany Garry (Frankfort, IL) and Beth Schlatterer (Arlington Heights, IL) to make it 27-27.

With AIC serving for the match, Schlatterer and Garry combined on a block to pull the Bulldogs even once again at 29-29, but the Yellow Jackets (2-2, 0-1 NE-10) would hold on for the win.
