VOLLEYBALL ANNOUNCES 2026 SCHEDULE

SMITHFIELD, R.I. – Bryant volleyball head coach Theresa Garlacy announced the 2026 schedule on Wednesday afternoon.

Bryant begins the 2026 season with Northeastern at home on August 21st at 7:00 PM. The Bulldogs will celebrate their 2025 America East regular season title prior to the match.

SCHEDULE HIGHLIGHTS
  • The Bulldogs travel to North Carolina for the second straight year. This time, they'll head down to Charlotte for a tournament from August 28-30. They'll also face North Carolina A&T and Appalachian State.
  • URI will host the Ocean State Cup this season from September 4-6. Bryant went 2-1 against URI, Providence, and Brown last season.
  • The Bulldogs will host the Bryant Invitational for the second straight year. Marist, Merrimack, and Fordham will make the trip to Smithfield.
  • Bryant returns to the Kaiser Classic for the first time since 2024. St. John's will host the tournament in Queens, NY from September 18-19. The Bulldogs will also face Rutgers and Penn in Queens.
  • The Bulldogs open America East play at home against NJIT.
  • Bryant will host league matches against NJIT, UMBC, UAlbany, Binghamton, and New Hampshire.
The Black and Gold open the season at home for the first time since 2016, hosting Northeastern. Bryant then heads down to Charlotte to close out August.

They'll return to the Chace in September to face Stonehill in a midweek contest (Sep 2). Bryant then takes the short trip to URI for the Ocean State Cup (Sep 4-6). They'll have a quick turnaround, facing UConn in Storrs, CT (Sep 8). The Bulldogs are back at the Chace for the Bryant Invitational (Sep 11-12) and then for a match against Manhattan (Sep 16).

Bryant heads to Queens for their final tournament (Sep 18-19). Then, they'll face CCSU (Sep 22) before conference play.

The Black and Gold host home conference matches against NJIT (Sep 25), UMBC (Sep 27), UAlbany (Oct 17), Binghamton (Nov 1), and New Hampshire (Nov 13). They play road conference matches at Binghamton (Oct 3), New Hampshire (Oct 9), UMBC (Oct 24), NJIT (Oct 30), and UAlbany (Nov 8).

The other non-conference match is at Holy Cross (Oct 6).

The 2026 America East Volleyball Championship will be held at the host of the highest seed from Nov 20-22.
