Sophomore Delia Glover tallied 49 digs in three
matches this week including 17 vs. Pace Saturday

SMITHFIELD, RI - Bryant senior Jessica Cegarra
(Danville, NH) had 18 kills and freshman Morgan
Wood (Cedar Park, Texas) played one of her best matches of
the season as the Bulldogs rolled to a 3-0 win over visiting Pace
University this morning in a Northeast-10 Conference Volleyball
match. With the win, Bryant improves to 19-17 overall and
11-2 in the NE-10 heading into the home finale Tuesday vs.
Assumption (7 pm).
Wood, a freshman middle, hit .611 offensively for the match with
11 kills and no errors on 18 swings while added three
assists. The Bulldogs also got another strong performance
from freshman Julie Geonnotti (St. Louis Park,
Minn.) who had eight kills and 12 digs while sophomore
Delia Glover (Marston Mills, Mass.) controlled the
tempo on the back row with 17 defensive digs.
Danielle Furka led Pace with 13 kills and nine digs while Korena
Johnson added 10 kills.
Senior Beth Schlatterer (Arlington Heights, IL)
celebrated her birthday with a solid performance on the day,
hitting .305 with nine kills while adding four digs and four
blocks.
