MANCHESTER, N.H. - Maureen Burns scored a pair of goals but the
Warriors of Merrimack pulled out a 6-5 win over the Bryant women's

Conference tournament. Merrimack tallied the game-winner with
1:34 left in regulation.
Lynne Zoltowski had four ground balls and Michelle Lewis and
Ashley Fabrizio each had three in the game. Both teams played
a tight first half and headed to the locker rooms tied at 3-3 at
the break. In the second, Merrimack led 5-3 before a goal from
Burns pulled Bryant to within one at 5-4 and moments later Lauren
Carlisle scored to tie the game at 5-5.
However, Erin Black's goal with 1:34 left gave the second-seeded
Warriors the win and a spot in Sunday's championship game.
