SMITHFIELD, R.I. – The top-seeded Bryant University women's lacrosse team will host the No.3 seed UAlbany Great Danes in the America East Conference Championship game on Sunday, May 4th. Gametime is set for 12:00 PM. Sunday's game will be a rematch of their regular season game this past April where Bryant won in a close 10-9 victory over the Great Danes.
This marks Bryant's first appearance in the America East Conference Championship final since joining the league in 2022, and their seventh regular season conference title at the Division I level.
Bryant enters this match-up off a momentous victory over No.4 seed UMBC, where the Bulldogs trailed for the better half of the game before Constant cashed in an equalizer sparking Riley O'Mara's unanswered two-goal run to clinch the Bulldogs a spot in the title game.
The championship game will also feature No. 3, UAlbany, with the winner advancing to the NCAA Division I women's lacrosse tournament.
