Before Bryant
A three-year starter for head coach Ryan Maniz at Portsmouth High … Helped the Patriots to a 27-11 record in his career … Wrapped up his historic career by being named the Rhode Island Gatorade Player of the Year … Earned All-DI honors at three different positions, garnering a nod at kick returner as a sophomore, a wide receiver as a junior and a quarterback as a senior … First team all-state selection as a quarterback and defensive back as a senior and first team all-state as a wide receiver his junior season … Named all-league and all-academic each of his three years … Earned the 2013 Captain’s Award and earned player of the year honors from the Providence Gridiron Club and the Newport Daily News … Also excelled in track and field, winning county championships in the 100 and 200 … Two-year member of the varsity basketball team … Member of the honor society.

The son of Cindy and Bob Sewall … Has one brother, Bobby, and two sisters, Caitlin and Megan … Brother, Bobby, played football at Brown University and played in the NFL for the Tennessee Titans and Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
