Before Bryant: A 2011 graduate of the Moses Brown School in Providence, R.I., Rinn completed a year of post-graduate studies at Worcester Academy … Was a two-time First Team All-State player as a junior and senior at Moses Brown … Set school records for hits in each of his final two years and was named the MVP of the division each year … On the mound, compiled a 14-1 record over the past two seasons … Served as captain in his final two years … Also a member of the hockey team, earning all-state honors in his junior and senior seasons … Captained team his senior year and led the state in points.

Personal: The son of Debra and John Rinn, Robert Rinn was born on Oct. 17, 1992 ... Has two brothers, John and Jake, and one sister, Gianna.
