As a senior: Made the move to the starting rotation and was brilliant for the Bulldogs as a senior ... Made 15 appearances, 13 starts ... Went 7-2 with a 4.21 ERA in 68 1/3 innings ... He allowed 69 hits, walked 21 and struck out 52 on the year ... Pitched one of the best games of his career against No. 22 Kentucky at the Tony Gwynn Classic ... Allowed three runs on five hits and struck out seven without issuing a walk over five innings to earn the win ... Allowed one hit and struck out eight over six shutout innings against George Mason in his next start ... Pitched a complete-game, four-hit shutout against Central Connecticut on Mar. 19 ... Before Bryant: A three-year varsity letterwinner at Mark T. Sheehan High School in Wallingford, Conn. … Davitt joined the varsity squad as a sophomore and went 4-0 on the mound, helping the team to the state championship …  As a junior, became a front-line starter as well as the Titans starting second baseman ...
